NaNoWriMo! Oh my!

Why would I do such a thing to myself?

This fine November morning (well, okay, it's midnight...) I chose to sign up at NaNoWriMo. For those of you who don't know, that means I have decided to write a 50,000 word novel during the month of November. The likelihood of my completing this challenge, on a scale of one to ten(with ten being most likely), is a negative 7004.

Sad, but true. My grand plan of nearly two years ago? The one where I would write one sentence a day for a year? Hah! I have, like, five sentences. This blog, which I started on 12/01/2006? This is my sixth post.

So, here we go. Graveyards and Gwendolyn. That's my main character and part of my plot. In case my muse takes a peek at this post. I mean, with my track record, how else is a muse to mull over my writing?

Maybe my muse will like me better if I give it a name. Let's see. My muse is named... Muppet!

Goodbye, dear Muppet. Tomorrow I shall tell you how my first day's writing went, and how you got your name.

Word of the Day: noctuary: (noun)an account of what passes in the night; the opposite of a diary
